Right now, Forsyth County has no emergency shelter and no dedicated housing options for single adults experiencing homelessness. Too many neighbors facing hardship have nowhere to turn and no clear path forward. Veterans, seniors on fixed incomes, and individuals experiencing crisis are especially vulnerable.
A Community Built for Hope
Cottages of providence is a proposed 12-acre supportive housing community in Cumming, Georgia. Designed as a village-style neighborhood of small independent cottages, the community will provide safe housing alongside the support services residents need to rebuild stability and move toward lasting independence.

St. Vincent de Paul Georgia (SVdP) helps prevent homelessness and supports neighbors in crisis through housing, financial assistance, and personalized services. Cottages of providence is led by a volunteer advisory committee of SVdP.
