This year, more neighbors than we've ever seen are facing that reality. Our assistance line is receiving 30,000+ calls a month, and our food pantries are serving twice as many families as last year. People are skipping their medications so they can keep paying rent.
And the cold is coming.
When we reach a family in time, we can stop the slide. We help with a utility bill, cover a rent gap or fill a prescription, and that keeps a parent working and plants strong roots for children. When eviction is inevitable, our rapid rehousing helps families get back into a home quickly.

Jaquita was working full-time and still spending her last dollar on hotel rooms. Briana was pregnant and couch surfing after her restaurant closed. Caleb, a single dad with full custody, was doing everything he could to keep his son safe and in school without a home.
